What can I say but I just love working with all the team at SigTech Rail. You can also be confident that when you work on any projects that you will get the required help & support. The team are super organised and always provide extensive work information packs on the job & tasks in hand. It’s also good working with the rest of the company’s Signalling Technicians as you know that they have been handpicked by Pete because they have extensive skills & a proven track record of delivering safe, quality signalling works. Whilst I have worked on projects with SigTech Rail I have found that the team go out of their way to upskill and mentor any lads who need to update their skills for their IRSE Licence. You can see that the company is growing and getting a great reputation in the rail market for delivering a first-class specialist signalling service; something I’d like to a part of. I think that several words would sum up what It’s like to work with SigTech Rail…fantastic, efficient, trustworthy, structured, methodical, dependable.
Dear Pete, can I say it was a pleasure to work with you and the SigTech Rail team on the Oxmarsh Lane project. I learned a heck of a lot from you guys and would love to work with you again. I’ll be handing in an IRSE work experience sheet to you or Richie. Unfortunately, I got offered a job on Monday and I’ve decided to accept. So, I will be leaving the contracting game. However, I would like to say that I wish you and your company all the best. I will have no hesitation to contact SigTech Rail. The 8 hours pay to travel was also a nice touch and very much appreciated. I also liked that you not only sent out the TBS and site information but also a whole host of other vital technical information on the mechanical signalling, which certainly helped me to do the job efficiently & safely.
I just wanted to say that I would be happy to work with you and the team anytime again. I believe I learnt quite a lot whilst working on the Oxmarsh Lane project, from making up the termination point mechanical wiring, to adjusting the chains underneath the signal box and also having to rewire the detection box on top of the Signal. Please do keep me informed of any new projects where my assistance maybe required.
It was a pleasure to deliver my part of the works at Oxmarsh and I thank you for the opportunity. I think the last commissioning shift would have been disastrous if I had not attended, especially as it appeared that other signalling testers didn’t have the required skills to get the system working. I led the testing of a wsf on the one signal as set up concluding the cabling was bands 4321 for bands 1234. Worryingly it had been signed for in a wire count. We just commissioned in time. Thank you also for the offer a sub-sponsorship, something I may consider in the future. I must say that all your lads were excellent on the commissioning
It is a pleasure working with the team at SigTech rail because you know that you’re working for a respected, trusted and specialist signalling business. Even before the start of a project you instinctively know that everything including comprehensive work packs will be organised from start to finish. Something which quite a few companies don’t get right. From the very top to the very bottom, the team just have total dedication, passion, and a determination to provide first class signalling works on each job. What’s more the team are always on hand to immediately support you with any issues that may arise. On-the-job training is usually the best form of learning, but it can be very difficult to do this on a shift, as the main task in hand is usually to get the job done as quickly and safely as possible. However, Pete and his team do invest their own time in mentoring and upskilling their workforce to ensure all their projects run smoothly and efficiently. I always receive my pay on time and have never had to chase for any money. When working with SigTech Rail you know you will get trust, assurance, organisation, first class service levels, mentorship, safety first and complete reliability.
I was originally working on permanent way and had thought about working on OLE or S&T. Then I was approached by Pete from SigTech Rail to see if I would like to work alongside him and train to becoming an Assistant Installer. I grabbed the opportunity and can honestly say I haven’t looked back since. From my very first S&T job Pete has taken up his own personal time to mentor and train me. I am now out contracting and to becoming a fully qualified Installer. As a newbie Assistant Installer Pete has been helping me on many things like what tools to buy and provided unrivalled support, mentorship, and guidance to working in the industry. Pete has given me a huge head start to be working within S&T and has truly set me up for success. His efforts have also helped me to get the best out of my training courses as I had a solid knowledge base going into them, which meant that I could take in more information instead of struggling to keep up. Working with the team at SigTech Rail has been a game changer for me and if you have the pleasure of working with them then expect to receive integrity, openness, honesty, support & exemplary on the job training.
Many thanks to the SigTech team for signing my evidence pages in my logbook. I must admit that working with Pete & his team was one of the highlights of my career from a technical & content perspective. Once again it was a pleasure to assist.
Over the past 12 months, the SigTech team have used their Signalling expertise and competence to successfully assist Protech Rail Engineering Ltd on our ‘Track On / Track Off’ requirements at Fladbury, Hallen Marsh, George’s Bridge & Ocean’s Canal, on behalf of Tier 1 suppliers on the Network Rail Infrastructure. Not only have Pete and the team attended pre-site visits for site familiarisation, but they have also completed disconnections, reconnections and S&T Testing on the core works and follow-up works (Welding / Stressing) as required. The SigTech team work together collaboratively and have offered flexibility and reliability to move their shift times in line with the revised programme where site progress has accelerated or where delays have been encountered throughout blockade works. Where some activities that require S&T resource have been deferred from the core works to follow up works, the team have managed to move resources around and procure extra staff on one occasion to facilitate late instructions at short notice. In addition, where any S&T issues have arisen on site, Pete and the team always strive to find the most feasible solution, taking pride in their work and they also have the necessary contacts to obtain emergency materials if required. Not only have the SigTech team been helpful on site, but Pete has also gone the extra mile to assist Tender Submissions and has also been available to discuss the procurement of POE components when queries have been raised. It’s been a real pleasure to work with the SigTech team to date and we look forward to working together on future projects, where no doubt further opportunities will take place on upcoming projects.

Thankfully at least your part of the project was done completely trouble free. I shall not hesitate to pass your details on to others & mention that you provide a professional service very well.
