G110 Lead Signalling Tester

Excellent Pay Rates 

On a day-to-day basis, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Carry out maintenance work on signalling equipment in line with Network Rail standards and the timescale as specified in the maintenance schedule, Task Briefings and as directed by the Team Supervisor.
  • Carry out correlation/site investigation/ site visits for planning work.
  • Assist in checking/investigating safety standards and/or system failures.
  • Work with and support the development of the signalling team.
  • Report problems arising during maintenance, installation and following completion of work.
  • Assist with staff mentorship and work. Supported by an experienced signalling team offering on-call assistance based development of staff.

SMTH Testers


Various Locations Around the UK
Excellent Pay Rates 

On a day-to-day basis, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • G110 Preferred
  • Knowledge of SE area
  • Ideally have a Network Rail fault & maintenance background.
  • Be able to undertake ITL duties as and when required.
  • 4 years SMTH experience post membership.
  • Installation skills desirable.

Points Fitters


Various Locations Around the UK
Excellent Pay Rates 

On a day-to-day basis, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a team as required in the installation points equipment to a laid down standard of quality.
  • Plan and organise the installation activity to ensure specifications, design and materials requirements are actioned and the work is carried out to the standards and the timescale as specified in the Work Package Plan and Task Briefings.
  • Installation and set-up of points operating equipment, backdrives and other associated equipment in accordance with Network Rail and company standards.
  • Carry out point inspections and sign off completion/inspection records.
  • Complete/sign off work allocation forms and report site progress as required.
  • To assist in checking/investigating safety standards and/or system failures.
  • Carry out duties of COSS/IWA/SWL as required.

Installation Team Leaders


Various Locations Around the UK
Excellent Pay Rates 

On a day-to-day basis, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure correct tools, plant and equipment are provided for the task.
  • Comply with and promote health, quality, safety and environmental instruction.
  • Work towards gaining Signalling Installation Technician IRSE Licence (1.2.220 v2).
  • Maintain IRSE logbook.
  • Carry out installation work to Signalling Installation Handbook (SIH) standards.
  • Carry out testing in accordance with the Signalling Maintenance Testing Handbook (SMTH).
  • Take responsibility for staff nominated as being under your control, including sub-contractors.
  • SMTH COSS or SWL.
