We would like to congratulate our Managing Director – Pete Lindley for attaining his 28 year anniversary working within signalling on the UK’s railway infrastructure. Or as Pete would say “back in 1993 my mum said apply for this role… its a job for life.” Why are mums always right?
Pete commenced his railway career in September 1993 as a Signalling & Telecoms Trainee Technician, working for British Rail. He then qualified as a Signalling & Telecoms Technician in 1995, passing all technical and safety rail qualifications that were available including the BTEC ONC in Electrical Engineering. He then progressed as an active member of the faulting and maintenance team, working up the promotional career ladder to Team Leader in August 1999. Now the founder of SigTech Rail he continually strives with the same dedication, determination and passion from when he initially started his on-track journey.
